The Posters

Posters - All our posters are officially licensed and have been purchased from official suppliers. On the page for each poster we provide a more detailed description around the paper used and the printing method. We get this information directly from the supplier so it is as complete and accurate as we receive it from them.

Framed - Certain of our maxi posters are available to purchase in an Eton Frame. We use imported black Eton Frames manufactured from MDF with a wood finish. The frame measures 30mm wide and 15mm deep and comes with a backing board and metal hangers.

Block Mounting - All posters are professionally block mounted. This process includes the posters being sealed with a laminate onto the board after being glued and pressed. We use 12mm chipboard which is long lasting and durable. The posters are then fitted with a black plastic edge strip around the edges. This edging protects the posters and the chipboards from damage, while also ensuring that the edges of the print never lift.  

Hanging - All posters come with a fitted hanging bracket. We suggest using a screw or Hilti when hanging the poster on a wall, as the posters weight between 3kg and 7kg depending on their size.

Sizes - Our posters come in a range of sizes. These are indicated in the details on each poster's page. We do indicate how the poster size compares to standard paper sizes, but as a number of our posters are the actual movie or promotional music or event posters, the sizes often don't correlate standard paper sizes. And our giant posters really are just that, GIGANTIC, so please measure the space you plan to hang them against the measurements provided before placing your order. For reference please see the poster size grid below, referenced to the size of a typical A4 piece of paper (and a hand):

Caring for the posters

We recommend that block mounted posters are cleaned with a damp cloth and are then wiped dry. Do not use any abrasive cleaners as this may damage the laminate. We've had posters for over 10 years which still look as good as new, so provided you give them some good TLC you will be able to enjoy them for years.

The Payments

We do not keep any of the credit card details of any of our customers. We make use of Payfast to process all of our payments. We are committed to providing secure online payment facilities. All transactions are encrypted using appropriate encryption technology.
Through Payfast, payments can be made via -

  1. debit card;
  2. credit card: where payment is made by credit card, we may require additional information in order to authorise and/or verify the validity of payment. In such cases we are entitled to withhold delivery until such time as the additional information is received by us and authorisation is obtained by us for the amounts. If we do not receive authorisation your order will be cancelled. You warrant that you are fully authorised to use the credit card supplied for purposes of paying for your order. You also warrant that your credit card has sufficient available funds to cover all the costs incurred as a result of the services used on tour website; and 
  3. Instant EFT.

Delivery

Poster Only Orders - We use a number of reliable couriers to deliver our posters to you. All posters are carefully rolled and packed into hard cardboard poster tubes. The delivery fee is based on the post code entered for delivery, but if your poster only order totals more than R750 we'll have it couriered to you for FREE. 

Framed and Block Mounted Orders - We use a number of reliable couriers to deliver our posters to you. The delivery fee is based on the post code entered for delivery, but if your poster only order totals more than R750 we'll have it couriered to you for FREE. 

Packaging -  Framed and block mounted posters are wrapped in bubble wrapped  for protection and are delivered by courier.

How long until I receive my order - After your order and payment are received, the posters are shipped as follows:

  1. Poster only - ships within 1 to 2 days. Courier delivery - we make use of the Courier Guy with delivery in major centers in 2 to 3 days and delivery within 5 days to outlying areas.
  2. Framed Poster - ships within 1 to 2 days. Courier delivery - we make use of the Courier Guy with delivery in major centers in 2 to 3 days and delivery within 5 days to outlying areas.
  3. Block Mounted Poster - ships within 7 to 10 days. Courier delivery - we make use of the Courier Guy with delivery in major centers in 2 to 3 days and delivery within 5 days to outlying areas.

Countries - At present we only deliver to customers in sunny South Africa. However, our rare collectors posters can be shipped globally. This is for the poster only products and does not include the block mounted posters. If you are interested please drop us an email, to posters@egoamo.co.za and we will get a delivery quote for you.

The Returns and Refunds

We offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee, if you aren't happy with your posters return them to us for a full refund. If you have any questions or issues please drop an email to posters@egoamo.co,za and we will sort it out for you as quickly as humanly possible.

Data Security

We use Omnisend as our email and marketing automation platform and your data will be transferred to the platform for processing in accordance with their Privacy Policy.
